AVECC’s #PowerPlayer series highlights student-athletes who make a powerful impact on and off the court. This week, we’re proud to feature County Line athletes Karlie Bottoms and Parker Winiecki.
Karlie Bottoms | County Line Lady Indians
Class of 2026 | Guard
Senior guard Karlie Bottoms is helping lead a dominant County Line team that holds a 26–4 record and a No. 3 statewide ranking. She says leadership is about connection and support, sharing that the most important part is “being able to be there for everyone and helping them whenever they need it.” Bottoms, who has been part of the County Line program since first grade, also understands the impact of being a role model for younger players who now look up to her.
Parker Winiecki | County Line Indians
Class of 2026 | Guard / Forward
Senior Parker Winiecki has embraced a leadership role during another strong season for County Line, remembering how older teammates once made the game more fun and showed what the future could look like. Now, Winiecki hopes to be that same example for younger players, encouraging them to look up to leaders who are “doing what they’re supposed to be.” After graduation, Winiecki plans to continue exploring future opportunities while finishing a standout high school career.
