BIOGRAPHY

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Education with a minor in English in May 2023 from Arkansas Tech University. I also completed an Associate of Science in Business Administration from ATU in 2022 and an Associate of Applied Science in Business from UACCM in 2013. In college, I held state office as Chief Programming Officer of Arkansas FBLA Collegiate and served as President of ATU’s chapter. As a student in FBLA Collegiate, I earned national competition awards in Job Interview and Word Processing in addition to state awards in Human Resource Management, Accounting, Organizational Behavior and Leadership, Business English, and Business Communications. Prior to returning to school in 2020, I worked as a Human Resources Analyst at the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton for seven years and in retail and food service for several years.  

I am passionate about helping students use real-world business skills to become successful adults in college or career.  I encourage students to be active in FBLA where we will complete monthly community service projects and have opportunities to compete at the district, state, and national levels in a wide variety of topics. Students in FBLA benefit from increased self-confidence, networking opportunities, compassion, and key critical thinking skills that employers value.

I enjoy watching sports, camping, fishing, and racing with my husband and two children. We are thrilled to be a part of a small school with such big potential!
