I graduated from Bigelow High School in 1995. I graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology with a concentation Wildlife and Fisheries in 2008 and with a Master's Degree in Secondary Education in 2010.

I started teaching at County Line High School in 2010. I currently teach Seventh Grade Science, Physical Science, Chemistry and Physics.
I have a wonderful husband, Chris, who I married on February 2010. I have two children, Levi and Miriam Harris. Both of my children are out of school. I have three dogs. Kermit, an Italian Greyhound, Axel a Greyhound and Summer an American Bully. I am currently training to run my first marathon November 21, 2020. I have taken up cycling as a way to crosstrain for my marathon, it has become a new passion of mine and my husbands.
When I'm not teaching I like to relax or go hiking. During the summer or longer breaks, I like to play World of Warcraft. This past few years, I have taken running more serious. I have completed numerous 5K and 10K races. I completed my first half marathon November 2018, the Route 66 half marathon.
